Another playable character in my upcoming game "Enter The Flesh Again".
The Octopus is a cephalopod mollusc born from an egg. It feeds mainly on plankton and smaller creatures. As a defence mechanism against predators or to subdue prey, the octopus can eject a thick cloud of ink and venomous saliva to stun and damage its opponent.

They're actually not too fragile, and yes, their attack can be quite effective. Although their best means of defence is to stay out of harms way from predators.
