Sorry to hear that Flash killed the project. I started shifting to Unity and Steam, but for small browser games I still use Flash e.g. Animate with HTML5 canvas. But Animate is really a pain in the ass, so I wouldn't recommend it for even slightly bigger projects.
Ah ok cool! In recent years I've gone from Unity to GameMaker and at the end of last year finally landed on Godot, and I think it's the one :)
@exotworking @SeethingSwarm is it possible to make HTML5 games for web in Godot that run in mobile browsers? In Unity there's no real support for that.
Yes, it seems like you can do pretty much anything with it. I'm not planning on making mobile games so I had to google this, and this is the first result:
"Godot runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and you can export your games to all of those operating systems. You can also export games to the web as HTML5 and onto Android and iOS devices. On mobile, you can even add in-app purchase functionality."
It would probably be better to search for this yourself since I don't really know.

Earth Taken? Nothing yet. I'd like to make some sort of reboot of the series one day. I'm all into pixel art nowadays, so the game will have a different art style if I ever do it, but right now I'm working on something else first, something secret for now. ET is definitely something I'd like to revisit though.

Thank you! Oh what a nice coincidence :) I'm pleasantly surprised to see that my games are actually playable again here on Newgrounds. I guess they have some built-in flash player in the site now or something.

Glad to see that you're not dead yet! I used to consistently follow your Enter the Flesh Again updates and not gonna lie, I was hoping you'd release it eventually, but obviously I understand if you feel it's not really going anywhere. And you can be rest assured that many, many projects have been suffering because of Flash, so you're not alone at all lol. If you feel it's better to just start the whole from scratch you should absolutely go ahead and do that. Whenever you feel ready to release it - or anything else for that matter - we will be here for you :)
Also, I still really love your Earth Taken and Acid Bunny series! I used to play them on here way back in the day long before I made this account, they're still really awesome games and they have amazing replay value. So regardless of where you go from here you can at least die knowing you already made some really great games!
So yeah, I definitely do remember you, in fact I was always wondering when you would come back. I'm glad you're at least in a better place now, and while I hope you'll continue to make indie games, obviously you ought to do it all at your own pace and put your own personal wellbeing before anything else.

Ah thank you, this means so much to me! I feel like I'm on the road to recovery and getting my life back together, and I've got some game projects in the works. Things are looking better :)

You should really do what the creators of hollow knight did Make a new game in unity and sell it on steam. And maybe start a go fund me or a demo.
Haha yeah! Hollw Knight is one of my fave games, and I'm actually planning something like your suggestion. Lots of preproduction going on first. I tried out Unity for a while, then GameMaker. They're both great, but I finally landed on Godot. It feels like the right fit, and now I can get to work :P
