My new ninja game is coming along pretty nicely. I'm just managing not to make the immense amount of code fly right over my head. The game engine is pretty much ready and I'm getting a kick out of playing it already. Here's a screenshot of our hero doing some window shopping...

Upgrading sure is hip nowadays, right? I'm yearning for a game which doesn't require the player to buy all kind of stuff and such, just lets one enjoy a casual experience.
Screenshots look great though.
If you just want a casual experience, why not try some of my other games like Hobo Brawl, or The Rise of a Knight, or some of my games under my old username SecretSecretary like Swept to the End. Those are all games where the tediousness of leveling-up or buying new stuff is not included :)
Glad you like the screenshots! Oh, and don't worry, the level-up system as well as all the shops in my up-coming ninja game are designed to be as user-friendly and easy as can be...
