Hey my newgrounder buddies!
You ready for some apocalyptic action? Here's a gameplay trailer of a new game of mine called Earth Taken and it's gonna hit Newgrounds real soon! Hope you guys like what you see and keep checking back for updates on it!

Oh and I'm in the process of incorporating medals into some of my older games here on Newgrounds just for fun! The first game that got the medal treatment is Out of this World. The medals with this game is pretty straight forward; Every time you complete a new chapter in the game, you get a medal. I did this because I'm very unfamiliar with adding medals to games and I just want to make sure that everything works. Please go check it out and let me know if the medals are working properly and all that. I would really appreciate it so I won't get into trouble when I integrate medals with all my new games like this awesome new apocalyptic game of mine Earth Taken. While you're waiting for it to come out, GO PLAY OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Had to go back and play Out of this World again (medals)... seemed like you tweaked the difficulty at the end of the game... not bad!

Earth Taken is looking very good so far, about 3 chapters into already :)

Cool! Nice to know that some of my older games are still getting some action :P ...great that you're enjoying Earth Taken so far :) Let me know what you think of the game as a whole when you've played it a bit further!

Since my left hand is choosing jump and fire anyway, maybe add the option of number keys for weapons: 1 for pistol, 2 for shotgun, 3 for smg... it's almost a universal constant in video games.

Also having the option to resend medals (probably in the options menu) would be most helpful...

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I could easily add number keys for weappns and it's probably a very good idea. I personally never use them in games when there's a cycle button, but that's just me and I'm not just making this game for myself hehe :P I'll remember that next time. With the medals, I guess you mean resending them in case the medal system screws up a bit on Newgrounds? That's also do-able if necessary.

Cool game man, it's a very nice concept but flash has it's limitations in making games like this :s

I recently started working on Earth Taken 2 and although stealth won't play a big new role in the game, Ive added a new weapon: the Combat Knife. You can do a stealth kill with the combat knife where you kill your opponent instantly if you come at them from behind or if you are extremely close to them. This might add a slight stealthy feel to the game, but sneaking around and hiding from the enemy will probably not play a major part in the game... but we'll see :)
