Another look at a new feature for my upcoming sequel of Earth Taken. The Laser Cannon is a prototype weapon developed by the government. It shoots out an extremely fast, powerful beam of energy, killing any living being in its wake. It needs some time to charge before being able to shoot again, but when fully upgraded with a quicker charge, the Laser Cannon is able to fire almost continuously. This gun is bad-ass.
I guess that this thing will be hard to get in-game though, assuming because that's one hell damn bastard which is a prototype developed by goverment, probs secured by hell loads of military peps.
Because it cannot roam just like that around the city, can it?
You won't be able to buy it anywhere. Earth Taken 2 is still a very linear game like the first one and you'll acquire the laser cannon at some point throughout the storyline. That's all I'll say for now :)
I love seeing these updates for the sequel to Earth Taken. So much anticipation! Anyway, about the Laser Cannon, aside from it being totally fucking cool, and it only needs to charge, it doesn't need any kind of ammunition right?
It's great to know you're excited! The Laser Cannon does need ammo. Every bullet (or stream of energy) needs to be charged up first and you still need ammo for it. The one good thing, apart from this gun being the most bad-ass gun in the game, is that you don't need to worry about reloading.
How about it's damage? Is it also useful for Boss battle? I can see that this "KICK ASS" weapon can blow up any Aliens or Military troopers in single shot. But... wonder also can blow up boss's ass. (I wonder what, or who will be next... military attack heli? Alien master? robot?)
By the way... did you say it's FREE??? due... how convenient.

There will be a semi-boss battle in the middle of the game, but the ending will be a bit different. There won't be a huge boss to fight, rather, there will be something else. You'll just have to wait and see. The laser cannon will be free, in a sense, but you'll only get it later on in the game and you will have to pay for upgrades and ammo.

Hey why not add Crazies? or people who mutated cause the air?
(the mutated ones are like bombs, they lay still but then you get close they begin to move and then explode)

Haha! :D That's not a bad idea! Needs to be fleshed out a bit still, but not bad! Unfortuantely Earth Taken 2 is pretty much ready. I'll be uploading it to Newgrounds real soon!
Wow, I played this not too long ago! It's awesome! I love it. Although it should have a boss (Sorry If there is a boss I might of forgotten)
